Passive Crossover

Each KFilter6 driver has eight passive crossover sections.

Section structure

Every section contains:

Series branch: R, C, L
Shunt branch: R, C, L

KFilter6 preserves the established crossover-network mathematics of the original application while presenting the network through a structured Qt6 interface.

Network Preview

The graphical Network Preview is both a schematic and an interaction surface.

It can display:

  • all four drivers
  • an individual driver
  • passive section values
  • driver state
  • compact active-filter information
  • acoustic/baffle access points

The R/C/L groups can be clicked directly to edit a specific section. The driver/enclosure region opens the matching Driver Parameters tab, the Active Filter strip opens the active-filter dialog, and the radiation-wave symbol opens Baffle / Diffraction parameters.

Curves and totals

Per-driver plot state controls whether a driver participates in:

  • SPL display
  • impedance display
  • vector SPL sum
  • energetic SPL sum
  • total impedance

Polarity inversion and the full crossover simulation path are also configurable per driver.
